Ingredients

  1. For Koftas:
  2. 3Grated boiled Potatoes
  3. 1 cupGrated Paneer
  4. 2Green chilli finely chopped
  5. 1.5 tbspGrounded Coriander and cumin
  6. to tasteChilli powder
  7. to tasteSalt
  8. 1 tspGinger garlic paste
  9. 2 tbspCorn flour for binding
  10. 1/2 CupCashew paste: milk
  11. 1/2 cupcashew
  12. Gravy: Onions 2 large
  13. 1-2Cardamom (use seeds)
  14. 1 tbspOil
  15. 1 tbspButter
  16. 1 tbspGinger garlic paste
  17. 2Green chillies
  18. 1/2 tspTurmeric
  19. to tasteSalt
  20. to tasteChilli
  21. 1/2 cupCream
  22. 1.5 cupsCrushed tomato

Cooking Instructions

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Mix all the ingredients of kofta and shape them into balls and fry until golden brown or can be made in appe pan or can be baked in the oven.

    Just before serving add kofta to the gravy

    Gravy: Heat oil and butter.Add cardamom seeds and cook for a minute.

    Now add finely chopped onions with garam masala and cook until golden brown.

    Add ginger garlic paste and green chillies. Cook for 2 mins.

    Add turmeric,salt, chilli powder and
    Kasoori methi.

  6. 6

    Add crushed tomato followed by cashew nut purée and cook this until oil separates.Finally add cream.

    Cashew Paste
    In a grinder, grind cashews with milk. Grind till a paste is formed.

    Add kofta and serve.
