Ingredients

  1. For sarso ka saag:
  2. 500 gmustard leaves
  3. 250 gspinach leaves
  4. 125 gbathua leaves
  5. 2big chopped onion
  6. 2chopped tomato
  7. 2chopped green chilli
  8. 1 tspginger paste
  9. 1 tspgarlic paste
  10. 1 tspred chilli powder
  11. 1 tspcoriander powder
  12. 1 tspGaram Masala
  13. To tastesalt
  14. For makki ki roti :-
  15. 3 cupmaize flour
  16. as needed water
  17. 2 tspghee
  18. 1/2 tbsajwain
  19. To tastesalt

Cooking Instructions

    Clean and chop all the greens and then wash them again running water to remove dirt. Repeat the process 3-4 times.

    In a pressure cooker add all the ingredients and cook it for, 8-10 minutes.

    Put the greens along with stock and blender and blend it for a min.

    Take a bowl and pour the blender greens in it. Now take a pan,heat ghee. Add garlic paste and ginger paste after that add chopped onion and saute it and add chopped tomato and green chilli add the saag and stir fry them. Keep stirring for few minutes.

    For makki ki roti :-

    Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Add the water and knead well. Roll the dough and make small size balls of the dough.

    Roast the makki ki roti on a tawa with a few drops of ghee until it's brown and thoroughly cooked.

    Serve hot with sarso kA saag.
