I had bacon wrapped dates in DC. I wanted to make something similar, so I chose bacon and black figs for my version :-)

I had bacon wrapped dates in DC. I wanted to make something similar, so I chose bacon and black figs for my version :-)
作り方

Gather all the ingredients.

Rinse the figs under cool water.

Gently wipe them dry with a paper towel.

Trim off the stem. Remove the peels from the figs with knife

Wrap a bacon strip around the fig. Secure with a toothpick.

Repeat with remaining figs and bacon.

Place the figs onto a large skillet.

Heat to over medium heat and cook.

Flip the figs occasionally to evenly cook the bacon.

NOTE: Adjust the heat to prevent it from burning

Use paper towel to remove extra fat from the skillet.

Drizzle balsamic vinegar over the figs.

Gently flip the figs to evenly coat them with the vinegar.

Serve.

NOTE: You can use dried figs instead for a firm texture!
