Cucumber and tomatoes salad

The only thing i do differently on the recipe is i use one large seedless cucumber, around 12" and omit the tomatoes. Very tasty side dish, enjoy!

For this salad, I use European or Persian cucumbers because they look nicer, have almost no seeds, and have very thin skin. You can use thick-skinned cucumbers, but you'll need to peel them or leave strips and remove the seeds if you don't like them.

Another version of a salad based on cucumber and radish, delicious to serve as an appetizer or as a side dish for any meal. The original version used sour cream, but now I use Greek yogurt to reduce the fat content.

I grow up on this salad in portugal. It's lovely and light. It compliments barbecued meat really well

I made this when I didn't have an appetite.Use this recipe with apples, pears, or persimmons for a tasty seasonal salad. It's also tasty with the juice that comes out of the fruit after chilling it in the fridge.When transferring to serving dish, a dash of black pepper will add a nice touch.
