Ingredients

  1. 2medium sized tomatoes
  2. 1Large onion
  3. 1 bunchcoriander
  4. Pinchsalt
  5. Cooking oil
  6. Halfcup of water
  7. Pepper

Cooking Instructions

    First separate your omena from the bad ones/shells..then put in a sufuria with warm water... leave to boil for 5 minutes

    Drain all the water from your omena..then run in cold water twice...i boil my omena to remove all the bitter taste... slice your onions.. tomatoes..and coriander..

    Then fry with oil till golden brown

    Remove omena from the pan..in a plate..and with the same pan and oil..fry your onions and paper till golden brown then adding tomatoes.. stir well till thick..add in your water.. don't add too much water...we don't want our omena stew watery😉...

    Simmer till the whole stew is thick then add your coriander stir and add omena...stir till it's all covered in the stew.. then remove and serve with hot ugali and greens 😊😋...NB:I didn't boil it the normal way..I was tired😔
