Summer Pudding Summer Pudding
The British Embassy in Japan is hosting a campaign to allow residents to experience British cooking called "Food is GREAT: A Taste of Britain."For 500 g of berries, use 80 g of sugar. Please combine whatever berries you want. Only use up to 50 g of blueberries. This is excellent if you have some red or black currants. Cherries are also yummy. You can even use frozen strawberries or mixed berries. This is representative of a British summer dessert. Recipe by British Embassy cookpad.japan -

Raspberry Sauce (Raspberry Purée) Raspberry Sauce (Raspberry Purée)
If you use frozen berries, they will release more juice when being heated than fresh berries. (The same goes for strawberries and blueberries.)I love raspberries but they have so many seeds that leave a bad taste in my mouth, which is why I strain them. If you want to leave a few for a grainy texture, leave out 1/3 of the berries when straining in Step 3.Step 4: You can cook the berries until they're as thick as you want, but generally they should be done about 2-3 minutes after it starts to boil. It will harden as it cools, so don't boil it down too much. You can use frozen or fresh raspberries, but if you use fresh ones, freeze them first because of the reason noted above. This is one of my favourite recipes. I found it years ago online and have made a few changes to it.**optional** You can add paneer for a heartier meal. Paneer is not an ingredient used in spinach bhaji but I like to use paneer because it adds some protein to the meal. kevinsingh87 -
Easy Mint Mousse Easy Mint Mousse
I kept buying small packages of mint at the supermarket and they'd go bad, so I thought I could make something with them besides herb tea. I also wrote about this in Step 12.I learned how to use chopped mint to infuse a liquid from a recipe by food writer Fujino Makiko that appeared in a magazine. If you don't have mint liqueur, increase the amount of mint leaves. Speaking of which, the mousse had a lot less color than I expected, so I added a little bit of green food coloring. It doesn't affect the taste, so you don't need it if you don't mind the color. For enough to fill 2 150ml bowls. Recipe by Sabumochi cookpad.japan -
EVOO & Ice Cream EVOO & Ice Cream
I had heard of this before, and while I salute the culinary pioneer who first declared it delicious, I only say this is my version of it because I think you can use whichever EVOO you like the most, but the quality of the ice cream is actually more important (and cheaper). Celeste
