Steps
- 1
Put the mint leaves in your palm and quickly clap your other hand down on top of the leaves to release the aroma. Put all the ingredients into a sauce pan, then let sit for over 1 hour. The photo show what it looks like after sitting for 5 hours.
- 2
Heat on medium. Once it comes to a boil, reduce to low, then simmer until it reaches your desired thickness. The photo shows what it looks like after simmering for 10 minutes. It will thicken a bit once it cools down.
- 3
When it cools down, transfer to a sterilized jar. Remove the mint leaves after simmering for about 5 minutes.
- 4
Here it is used in "J-DOG's" Pancakes with sour cream! Looks like heaven!
