Ingredients

  1. 3 cupsflour
  2. 1 1/2 cupswarm water
  3. 1 tspsalt
  4. 1 tspsugar
  5. 500 mlvegetable oil
  6. carrot puree

Cooking Instructions

    Add 3 cups of flour in a bowl

    Add salt,sugar,2tbsp of oil and 11/2 cups of water in a separate jar/bowl.. Stir until the salt and sugar dissolves

    Add the liquid mixture in step 2 With the puree in the flour bowl (step 1) and mix well

    Keep needing for 10 min and add flour if needed until the dough becomes non sticky. Add 2-3 tbsp of oil and continue needing until the oil mixed well and the dough is soft. Cover the dough and leave it for 40 min

    After the 40 min, divide the dough into 10-15 minutes equal parts making ball like shapes. Arrange them in a flat surface dusted with flour (cover with a ramp table cloth to avoid drying)

    Dust flour in the flat surface and take one of the balls and start rolling with a rolling pink to a circular shape,brush oil on top and roll it inwards to form a shape like a rope,then create a coil like shape and pressure the ball down with your palm to make it flat. Repeat this process in the rest of the balls

    Next start rolling each of the coil- like shape dough with the rolling pink to form a circular shape

    In a hot pan,place the rolled out out chapatti and fry each side with little oil until it turns golden brown on medium heat.Place your cooked chapatti in a flat plate and cover with an aluminum foil

    Repeat this step to the rest of the coil-like dough

  10. 10

    Serve with your favourite stew
