  1. 1 cupGreen chilke wali dal
  2. 1 pinchGinger-
  3. 4Garlic cloves-
  4. 1Green chilli
  5. as requiredGreen coriander
  6. 1Onion- medium chopped
  7. 1Tomato- chopped
  8. 1/2Carrot-
  9. -1/2Capsicum
  10. 1Green chilli- chopped
  11. 1/2 cupGreen peas
  12. Ginger paste
  13. 1/2tsp turmeric powder
  14. 1 pinchAsafotida
  15. 100gmsPaneer-
  16. to tasteSalt
  17. 1/2 tspGaram masala
  18. As requiredOil
  19. 1/2 tspCumin seeds
  20. as requiredWater

Cooking Instructions

    Firstly in a large bowl soak dal for 2 hours..drain off the water and transfer to the mixi jar..also add chilli,ginger and garlic.blend to smooth paste adding water if required..

    Transfer the ground dal into a bowl also add salt,asafotida mix well..add water forming thick flowing consistancy chilla better..

    Heat oil in a pan and add the cumin and onion and cook for 2-3 min till the onion is translucent..

    Now add green chilli,ginger paste,green peas,carrot,capsicum and tomato and cook for 2-3 min till soft..

    Add salt,turmeric,and garam masala mix well.

    Vaggies are cooked add finely chopped green coriander and mix well..turn off d flame

    Now grate the paneer over these vaggies and then mix it..stuffing is ready now prepare the cheelas..

    Heat a tawa pour some oil over the tawa and spread it evenly..let the tawa heat sufficiently..

    Tawa is rightly hot,now bring the flame to low and let it cool down a little..clean the extra oil from the tawa like this..

    To prepare the chilla,pour better over the tawa and spread it evenly to make chilla..

    Increase the flame and pour some oil around the chilla..

    Now roast the cheela until it gets golden brown from beneath.

    Flip the sides and continue roasting the cheela until it gets brown spots in the other side as well

    Check the chilla from other side..brown spot appear on this side as well,chilla is roasted well..

    Now reduce the flame and spread some stuffing on this of the cheela...

    Transfer to a plate and serve hot...
