Ingredients

  1. 8 cupsall-purpose flour
  2. 3 cupswarm water
  3. 3/4 tbspsugar
  4. 1 tbspsalt
  5. Oil
  6. 2carrots (grated)

Cooking Instructions

    In a large bowl, mix carrot and flour.

    Mix water, salt, sugar and oil in jug.

  3. 3

    Gradually add the water mixture to the flour and knead til a soft dough is formed. Cover with cling film and let it sit for 20mins.

    Cut the soft dough in small balls.

  5. 5

    Using a rolling pin, roll out the balls and place on a heated pan one at a time and cook on both sides without oil on medium flame.

    Cook the chapatis applying oil to them on both sides. Continue til all of them are ready.

  7. 7

    Serve with a stew of choice.
