I wanted to make something that someone who doesn't like the taste of egg on French toast can eat
Cooking Instructions

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla, nutmeg and pinch of salt. Add the bread and turn to coat. Let the bread sit 10 minutes and flip and let the other side sit for another 10 minutes

In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon

When ready to cook, pour a bit of oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook the toast until light golden, then flip and cook 3-5 minutes, until deeply golden. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar on top of the toast. Flip the toast, cinnamon-sugar side facing down, and cook 2-3 minutes, until the sugar is golden brown and caramelized.

Serve the french toast cinnamon sugar side facing up. Sprinkle each piece lightly with cinnamon sugar.
