Chilled Carbonara with Poached Egg

I created this recipe when I received some pasta to test out.
I've been thinking about making cold pasta dishes with a poached egg, and came up with this recipe.
Don't add too much salt since there's plenty in the cured ham. Recipe by Mayugari-ta
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cook the pasta in salted (not listed) boiling water.
- 2
In a bowl, combine the parmesan cheese, cream, salt, and pepper.
- 3
Strain the cooked pasta in a colander, rinse under water to cool it down, and drain.
- 4
Add the pasta into the bowl from Step 2 and toss together.
- 5
Transfer the pasta onto a plate, sprinkle over on the bite-sized cured ham, and top it with the poached egg. Lastly sprinkle on some black pepper and parmesan cheese (not listed).
- 6
Enjoy it by breaking the poached egg.
- 7
It's delicious to toss it all up.

Simple Pasta Carbonara Simple Pasta Carbonara
Aiming for a healthier but rich pasta carbonara, I've been researching measurements that use less cream. For the pasta, make sure to minus 1 minute from the cooking time indicated on the package. This is because it will be heated again when combined with bacon From step 3 onwards, I recommend you remove it from the heat because the egg mixture will dry-up when it's heated too much. If you prefer a thinner sauce, add 50 ml of cooking water from the pasta at step 3. For 2 servings. Recipe by Bi-jo cookpad.japan -
Carbonara Carbonara
I simplified a recipe I learned while I was overseas. I highly recommend this!Bring out the fragrance of the garlic by cooking it as if simmering in oil. The sauce will be thick when the white wine and oil emulsify. Mixing the egg in after removing the pasta from the heat will prevent lumps from forming. Recipe by mini cookpad.japan -
Carbonara Carbonara
After a lot of experimenting, arrived at this recipe for the perfect cream free carbonara. Key is finishing the pasta in the skillet the pancetta was fried in. This makes it easier to add pasta water as needed since its never drained and prevents the eggs from solidifying fjaeckel -

My husband was sad that all of the closest Quiznos were either turned into Subways, or simply closed. He really liked the Chicken Carbonara Sub. I took a few recipes and put them together to make his favorite sub a pasta dish. He no longer craves Quiznos. Misty Bass -
Easy Carbonara Easy Carbonara
Usually, carbonara is made with cheese, black pepper, eggs, and panchetta (salted pork), but I decided to make it simply with things at home.I have listed an egg yolk, but you could also use a whole egg. However, make sure to use a small egg if you're using it whole.Adjust the amount of salt for the final seasoning, depending on the saltiness of the bacon. For 1 serving.
