Flaky Pie Dough Flaky Pie Dough
This is a great recipe to make multiple pies from. You can get creative and either use a while top crust or cut strips to make a lattice top crust. You can also roll out and cut shapes with cookie cutters or shape cutters to bake on top crust for decorations. A common top crust decoration is cherry cutouts or leaf cutouts. This adds a beautiful touch to your pies. chris.zurhorst -

Flaky and Beautiful All-Purpose Kneaded Pie Crust Flaky and Beautiful All-Purpose Kneaded Pie Crust
I used a dough cutter to cut the butter into the flour when I made this, I wanted concentrate on making this.Be careful not to let the butter melt while cutting it into the dough with a dough cutter. As long as you add chilled water and take care not to knead the dough, there's nothing to it. I recommend salted butter. Strong flour gives scones or pies a flaky finish. Flaky Pie Crust (easily removable) Flaky Pie Crust (easily removable)
I like to try my best to use butter sparingly. But you always need more than 100 g to make pie crust. I aimed for a recipe that wouldn't use too much butter and still be a delicious crust, so I made this. With this recipe, even stingy me can deal with using some butter! When you're gathering the dough together, be careful not to knead it! If it doesn't completely lump together, it will all stick together nicely when you roll it out. Recipe by Kobashi- cookpad.japan -
