Ingredients

  1. Tamarind
  2. Water
  3. Sugar
  4. Cinnamon, ginger, lemon

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Boil the tamarind with water....water level should go beyond the tamarind level on your cooking pot. This helps with the softening the tamarind pulp

It should take about 5 minutes depending on the quantity of tamarind

  2. 2

Let it cool, remove the pulp and seeds.... Strain your mixture

  3. 3

Boil the strained mixture with sugar, cinammon, ginger, and lemon juice. At this point, taste and see if everything is balanced as you would want. You can use honey as a sweetener..

  4. 4

Strain, let it cool and refrigerate it. Best served chilled...enjoy on a sunny day

No need to add sugar. Sugar is not good for our health.
