Ingredients

30-40 mins
8 ppl plus
  1. 2 gallonswater
  2. 4 cupszobo
  3. 2 stickscinnamon
  4. About 15 whole cloves
  5. 2 inchpiece of ginger
  6. 1glove of garlic small
  7. 3-4 cupssugar
  8. 2-3green cardamom seeds optional

Cooking Instructions

30-40 mins

    Put water in a very large pot rinse and add zobo leaves, cinnamon, cloves

  2. 2

    Clean the ginger and cut into slices and add to water. Smash the garlic with a knife (do not cut up, leave whole) garlic is only for preserving so it doesn’t go bad fast

    Add all other ingredients

  4. 4

    I cook on a medium heat until it boils then turn down to a lower temperature for about 30-45 minutes to simmer. Stir it a few times.

    Shut off and let it sit until it completely cools. Take out all the ingredients but squeeze out all the juice and pour into bottles or a large enough container to refrigerate! I use emptied coke or sprite bottles

    Get ready for your tastebuds to explode with deliciousness 🥳
