I love making this during the Holidays. Its so festive and everyone especially kids love it. You can add different toppings and serve it with whatever you like. Add different flavors/extracts a very versatile dessert.

Every winter I make a hot cocoa bar to start up our holidays . Well i lost or they broke idk Christmas containers idk 🤷‍♀️. So I did it this way . Will say if you have to bring something or entertain little ones around the holidays , this would be it on the go version, just pack it up and put it out on a counter top or table and everyone can enjoy a nice cup of bougie hot chocolate. When I'm tired, I just want to drink some nice, sweet hot cocoa. So I came up with this easy home recipe.This time, I used a heatproof measuring cup, but you can also use a mug.For heating the milk, I have a milk heating setting on my microwave that heats it to 70℃, but if you don't have this setting, heat at 600 W for about 1 minute 30 seconds.
