Ingredients

  1. 1 cupwheat flour
  2. 1/2 cupsugar
  3. 1/2 cupmargarine
  4. 1/3 cupmilk
  5. 2eggs
  6. 1 tablespoonslemon zest
  7. 2 tablespoonslemon juice
  8. 1 tablespoonbaking powder

Cooking Instructions

    In a bowl, combine sugar and lemon zest. Mix them thoroughly to release the oils.

    Add margarine and mix until well incorporated.

    Crack in the eggs and whisk.

  4. 4

    Add in lemon juice and mix well.

  5. 5

    Pour in milk and baking powder.
    Whisk until well combined.

    Add flour and continue whisking.

    In a greased baking tray/sufuria pour in the batter and bake for 60 minutes for 180° or until a toothpick comes out clean.

    When ready let it cool and serve with your favorite drink!!!
