Fresh Rolls

When you take a bite of these, your first thought is "wow! Fresh!!" Lol. hence the name. They are time consuming but worth it. Sorry if the instructions are confusing, it was kind of hard to explain how to make these! Please ask any questions if you need.

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Boil a pot of water and always have it full of hot water while you make these. I used an electric water pot and just kept filling it and boiling water
- 2
Chop and wash all your veggies and set up your station. With the noodles, add them to a strainer with a bowl underneath and pour boiling water on top of it. The noodles only take a minute to cook. Have another bowl filled with the hot water in your station. Get ready to roll!
- 3
Dip your rice paper in the hot water for a few seconds until they are soft and pliable
- 4
Lay your rice paper on a cutting board and start filling it with veggies. This is the order I did it in. 1) rice paper 2) lettuce 3) noodles 4) green onion 5) cucumber 6) shredded cabbage mix 7) cilantro
- 5
Roll up your rice paper starting from the bottom, rolling up then bring the sides in and keep rolling til they are sealed (like a burrito).
- 6
Usually these are best made right before serving but I've made them the night before. To store lay a peace of parchment paper down, then the rolls and then a damp paper towel over top. Then just keep layering it and cover with plastic wrap. Make sure the layer underneath the plastic wrap is a wet paper towel
- 7
I serve these with a spicy sweet dip. The recipe will be posted on my page. The sauce really makes these rolls over the top

Hot Rolls Hot Rolls
This is the recipe I found 15 years ago in a charity cookbook I got. Those cookbooks are like the Dead Sea scrolls. Anyway, I had to rearrange it a bit to make it work for me. It can be made in a variety of different pans with add ins and toppings from sweet to savory. Keep in mind this is bread so it’s not overly sweet. I’ve used it in desserts and as dinner rolls and slab bread. It has a million uses. SherryRandall: The Leftover Chronicles -
Bread Rolls Bread Rolls
Bread rolls were the first kind of bread I ever made. I made these rolls with my favourite dough. When the dough is not stretching well, cover with a tightly wrung out kitchen towel and let it sit for a little while.I used about 1/2 an egg for the dough and the remaining for the glaze. Chocolate Rolls Chocolate Rolls
If you have a sugar-resistant yeast, use that.Since the dough has quite a lot of sugar and cocoa powder, it's quite sticky. It also takes some time to rise, but please wait patiently. I wanted to make a chocolate flavored dough rather than a cocoa dough, but to get a rich chocolate taste you may have to add a ton of chocolate. While it's not quite rich, I think it's delicious in a different way from the usual cocoa dough.I have a list of bread-making directions on my recipe for "Simple Square Loaf". Please adjust the amount of liquid added and the temperature depending on the type of flour you use as well as the season and the weather.I used a conventional oven. Please adjust the baking time and temperature according to your oven.If you are using unsalted butter, just use the same amount of salt as in this recipe or increase it by about .1%. Corn Rolls Corn Rolls
I wanted to eat something that had corn, which I love.In step three when you are rolling up the dough, be sure to roll it up tightly! If you don't, when the dough rises, the middle will rise too much. Recipe by Chikayan cookpad.japan -
California Rolls California Rolls
When I was living in LA, avocados were cheap. I wanted to eat sushi at home (and not at restaurants), so I devised this recipe. I also figured out how to make inverted sushi roles (with the rice on the outside). The key to rolling it up well is to not hesitate in pulling it toward yourself while squeezing and rolling. (Try to press firmly enough so you can roll all the ingredients inside without crushing them). Rather than a hard avocado, it's best to use a ripen one. Recipe by Takeya LA cookpad.japan -
California Rolls California Rolls
This recipe was created by experimenting and going to and from sushi restaurants in California. There are many foreigners who don't like raw fish, but this hits the bull's eye every time. Doesn't matter if they're from America, Mexico, Romania.. you name it. Once they start eating, they'll be hooked!Make sure the amount of rice you lay onto the seaweed isn't too much, so it doesn't overwhelm the flavor of the fillings. In order to keep the shape of the roll, cut while leaving the plastic wrap on. You can preserve the shape by doing this. Recipe by Oyamakarifunta cookpad.japan -
California Rolls California Rolls
I was making American-style sushi for a few months as a sushi chef at a sushi counter.Since it's been a while now, I posted this recipe for my own reminder; I was starting to forget a few important points. If you press the lip too much in Step 9, the resulting rice won't turn out evenly. If you place 4 slices of avocados with 2 horizontal pairs, the sushi will have a nice round (or square) filling.
