A recipe inspired by the classic American coleslaw, but with a dressing different from the usual mayonnaise. I made it yesterday and it turned out delicious, so I'm sharing it.

I needed a refreshing side dish for karaage (Japanese fried chicken).Whole grain mustard isn't spicy. It adds a bit of tartness and depth to the flavor. Very simple salad yet delicious!

I tried putting this together for something simple yet nice-looking for welcoming guests. Maybe it was the color scheme, but it was far more well-received than I anticipated. This even worked for Valentine's Day.Before boiling the egg if you use the back of a spoon, etc., to lightly crack the large, rounded part of the shell it'll be easier to peel it off later.
