  3. 1 tbspbaking powder
  4. 1/2 tspsalt
  5. 1/2 cupbutter, cubed
  6. 1 cupmilk

    preheat oven to 425°

    in large bowl whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

    cut in butter until mixture is "crumbly"

    stir in milk

    flour your hands and kneed mixture 10 times

  6. 6

    flour a rolling pin and surface. roll dough out and cut into rounds.

  7. 7

    beat one egg and brush ontop of biscuits.

  8. 8

    bake for 12-15 minutes
