Ingredients

  1. 2 kgall purpose flour
  2. 1 tablespoonsalt
  3. Cowboy cooking oil
  4. Boiled water

Cooking Instructions

    Take a sufuria put in the salt and heat the warm the water. Take 4full spoons of cowboy cooking oil and heat. Iwe moto kabisaa

    In a basin put in your flour and leave 1/4 of it in the packet. Make a hole at the centre of the mixture and Add in your supper hot oil (just a little amount) use a spoon to mix it up. Then take your warm water and add in gradually and knead

    Knead your dough hadi ishikane vizuri. While kneading make some holes using your fingers and pour in the cowboy oil that you had melted. Then cover it up and it sit aside for 5 - 10 min ndo unga ulainike.

    The dough should now be soft.

    Start cutting the dough in order to make them into balls. While making the balls deep the cut pieces in a little oil so that it doesn't get sticky.

    Once you are done with the balls. Put some flour on a plate. Take one of the balls and cover both sides with the flour place it on your kibao na uskume in a circular motion to give it shape

    Next step will be making tabaki. Take a spoon na uchote mafuta yako ya cowboy ulio ya chemsha(if at this point it would have had solidified again or it seems like it's little kindly add more spoons of the cowboy and melt/ heat it) moving in a circular motion cover it with oil and cut the centre of it.     After you are done making all the tabaki take your pan funga mlango wa jiko ndo usiunguze chapati zako. If using a gas please use low heat. Take the tabaki cover it with flour on both sides put on your board na uskume in a circular motion.

    Add a little oil on your pan na uwache ushike moto kiasi. Take your rolled chapati and put it on the pan spin it a little till it turns a bit brown change the other side and repeat the process. Paka mafuta upande mmoja uliogeuka rangi na uaanze kuchoma hadi ziwe golden brown. Repeat the process with the rest till you finish.

    And voila you are done. You can take it with beans or green grams. I took mine with maharagwe ya nazi. Enjoy 😘
