Triple-rich Kinako Milk Toast Triple-rich Kinako Milk Toast
I was inspired by a candy called "Kinako Milk" which I saw at the supermarket.Add as much condensed milk as you like.Just one teaspoon gives a subtle sweetness and allows enjoyment of the kinako flavor. If increasing the amount of condensed milk, it may be best to slightly reduce the amount of milk (since milk tends to give a pastier taste to the kinako and other ingredients). Our Family's French Toast. Our Family's French Toast.
My mother used to make this French toast when I was growing up.In our house it's our standard late breakfast on the weekends.Adjust the amount of sugar and milk to taste. We like a rather sweet French toast.Put a generous amount of oil in the pan, since the bread tends to stick and burn easily!!If you have more people to feed, simply double the amounts. Fluffy French Toast Fluffy French Toast
I came up with this recipe by completely infusing the bread with the egg mixture, then slowly frying it until it's entirely cooked through.4-slice bread (3-cm thick slices) give a fluffy and delicious finish. They burn easily, so fry over low heat. Be sure to cover the pan with a lid. The time it takes to cook will vary depending on the thickness of the bread. I used thick sliced (3 cm) bread. Fluffy Creamy French Toast Fluffy Creamy French Toast
I've been making French toast this way for a long time. I made them with soy milk this time. For those who want to make a low-calorie version:Use soy milk. Instead of sugar, I use 1 teaspoon of an erythritol-based low-calorie sweetener, and leave out the butter and oil.The key is to thoroughly infuse the bread with the egg mixture. Soaking overnight gives a perfect result. If you're in a hurry, let the bread soak for at least 20 minutes. For 2 servings. Recipe by Karupinetto cookpad.japan -
Crispy in an Oven French Toast Crispy in an Oven French Toast
A recipe for oven-baked French toast was on display in a bakeware shop near my house, but the recipe used such a tiny amount of liquid. So I modified the recipe in such a way that I thought it would suit my family's tastes better. There's usually no rings free on the hob in the morning as everyone's making their packed lunches, so recipes like this that don't require a frying pan are so handy. Pictured is the recipe made with Danish bread. With this amount of egg mixture you can soak 4 slices of an 8 slice loaf of bread, but please shorten the baking time slightly. The egg mixture will probably not be enough to do 4 slices of an 6 loaf bread, so add one more egg to ensure the bread gets saturated. Note that this will result in a stronger egg taste and the overall result will be less sweet. Recipe by nemarin cookpad.japan -

Stovetop French Toast Stovetop French Toast
I’ve never understood why people would order French toast from a restaurant. Every time I have had French toast from a restaurant, it’s dry, chewy, and covered in powdered sugar. All things that this French toast isn't. This was the French toast I grew up with and I serve it to my family. Blair Webster-Urton
