This is so delicious and simple. It’s a real comfort food and can be a one-dish meal if you add in additional vegetables :) I intentionally didn’t add any salt to the pork mince as the shoyu on top was so sufficient for us. Gem -
Easy Pork Rice Bowl Easy Pork Rice Bowl
Pork is cheap and easy to cook with. This is my family's favorite dish. You can use any cuts of pork. I tend to use pork trimmings. Frying the onion gently will make a difference and add sweetness and richness to the dish. Prep the egg in any way you like.I used to use just soft poached egg, but raw egg was not bad either. Filling Ginger Fried Pork Belly Filling Ginger Fried Pork Belly
My husband's most favourite meat is pork belly block.I often cook skewers or thickly cut barbecue from the meat, and I thought it must be good for ginger fried pork!High heat burns the sauce, so be careful. If you use a frozen pork belly, you can slice easier when the meat is half-frozen.This is a very filling recipe, so use less fatty pork belly block if you don't have a strong stomach. Easy Folded Tonkatsu (Pork Cutlet) with Thinly Sliced Pork Belly Easy Folded Tonkatsu (Pork Cutlet) with Thinly Sliced Pork Belly
I didn't have any tonkatsu pork in the refrigerator but I had pork belly. I tried making it into layered cutlets, and it was easier and more tender than regular tonkatsu! For Step 1, I spread the plastic wrap which the meat comes in on my cutting board so the board doesn't get dirty. No need to wash the cutting board in that case.In Step 4, I use the tray the meat came in (a dry one). Then you don't have another plate to wash up. Recipe by Plus Nine cookpad.japan -
