Methi Mutter Makhana

This is a very healthy recipe suitable for fatty liver and diabetes patients too. Makhana are great sauce of protein, fiber and calcium.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
In a pan heat olive oil. Add the makhana and roast them crisp. Do not allow them to get burnt. Keep aside.
- 2
Heat oil in a pan. Add jeera, when it splutters add hing, onions and ginger garlic paste.
- 3
Once onions turn translucent add the mutter. Cover it and cook for 2 minutes. The Mutter will start popping. Now add the methi and saute for just a minute.
- 4
Add the tomato puree and salt. Cook it covered for 5 minutes. Add dhania powder, amchur, garam masala powder. If you like you can add 1 tsp kitchen king masala. Mix everything well.
- 5
Cook it closed for another 2 minutes. Add coconut milk and water and adjust consistency. Add the roasted makhana and mix well. Again cook it covered for 2 minutes.
- 6
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve. I like lots of it 😋

Methi Chicken Methi Chicken
#myfirstrecipeMethi Chicken is a simple and delectable creamy chicken curry with fenugreek or methi leaves, yoghurt and lots of cream. While methi is a leafy vegetable available mostly in winters I have used kasuri methi which is easily available at the market. This dish is extremely popular at every household but I whip it up real fast with minimal spices in an extremely hassle free way.I must mention that though I refrain myself from adding much of the cream for health reasons yet it uplifts the taste to an extremely good level. Enjoy eating! Kamalika Basu De -
