Just be careful not to burn the chicken because the sauce is easy to get burned due to the soy sauce.

Prepare a tray and mix all the ingredients for the roast chicken sauce.

Marinate the chicken and leave it for 1 hour in the fridge.

Place a parchment paper on an oven tray. Use a brush to coat the sauce on both sides of the chicken. Preheat the oven to 180℃.

Roast in the oven for 20 mins. After 15 mins of roasting, take out the tray, coat the sauce again and bring it back to the oven again.

Decorate with paper or ribbon to make it Christmassy! Enjoy!

Korean yangnyom chicken is one of the most popular foods which we've seen in lots of Korean dramas. When I went to Seoul last time, I found chicken shops everywhere. There are about 36,000 fried chicken restaurants in South Korea(data as of 2016). This is more than the number of McDonald's stores worldwide!!😱💦According to my husband, who is from Korea, yangnyeom chicken is usually not a home-cooked food and people mostly buy or order from outside. However, in overseas, we cannot always find Korean chicken shops. Also, I believe that the homemade one can be a bit more healthier than the one from outside.
