Ingredients

  1. Jasmine rice half mudu
  2. 2 cupsPrecooked rice
  3. 1 cupFlour
  4. 2 tbsInstant Yeast
  5. 1 tspBaking powder
  6. Salt
  7. 1 tbsyoghurt
  8. Sugar half cup
  9. Onions
  10. Pepper
  11. Oil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    Soak your Jasmine rice over night,wash and rinse then drain aside

  2. 2

    Add precooked rice into the Jasmine rice and grind into a smooth paste

  3. 3

    Proof your yeast by adding sugar and warm water for 5 minutes,then add into masa paste

  4. 4

    Add flour, sugar and salt then stir until well combined,let rise for 2 hours in a warm place or under the sun

  5. 5

    After two hours,add yogurt, chopped onions and peppers and mix again

  6. 6

    Place your masa maker on heat and pour some oil,when hot,add the masa paste and fry both sides

  7. 7

    And your masa is ready,serve with vegetable soup,sugar or honey
