This steak is tender and full of flavor. The sauce makes it easy to enjoy lots of cabbage, too. On March 1, 2008, this recipe became popular. Thank you to everyone who has made it! The origin of this recipe: I found a recipe in a cooking magazine that involved marinating beef in grated onion, so I thought it might work with pork too. Juicy Hamburger Steak in Steak Sauce Juicy Hamburger Steak in Steak Sauce
I thought up this hamburger with an elegant steak sauce that's neither Japanese-style or demi-glacé.Be careful not to burn the sauce when simmering it. It'll make the flavor bitter. These hamburger steaks don't use caramelized onions, so they're a bit healthier than your usual kind.Mixing in rice grains will make them even plumper.
