Chilli beans are Mexican-style dishes with beans from the southern United States. It is called “TEX-MEX” in the sense of Texas-style Mexican food.

Chilli is a national food which is popular in the US. This is a friendly menu with beans and meat spiced with tomato.

Today, I will introduce basic chilli recipes made with simple ingredients such as minced meat, beans, and onions.

Even though it is a simple recipe, which only needs to stir fry and to boil, adding chilli powder makes chilli full-fledged taste.

Ingredients

  1. 600 gground beef
  2. 439 gblack beans
  3. 794 gdiced tomatos
  4. 1/2onion
  5. 453 gpeppers (red, orange, or yellow)
  6. 2 tbspcumin
  7. 1 tbspgarlic powder
  8. 1 tsppaprika
  9. 2 tbspchilli powder
  10. 1/2 tspblack pepper
  11. 1 tspsalt
  12. 6 tbspsower cream
  13. cheddar cheese (Desired amount)
  14. cracker (Desired amount)

Cooking Instructions

    Dice the onion and peppers.

    Prepare the large pot. Heat the pot over low heat to medium heat. Make sure to spread the oil.

  3. 3

    Put onion, pepper and seasonings (cumin, garlic powder, paprika, chilli powder, black pepper, salt) in the pot.
    Cook for 5 to 7 minutes or until the onion brown.
    Make sure you keep stirring to prevent from burning.

    Add ground meat in the pot.
    Cook for 10 minutes or until the meat brown.

    Add diced tomato.
    Simmer for 15 minutes.

    Drain the beans and add in the pot.
    Simmer for 30 minutes or until the chilli become thick.
    Make sure to stir often.

    Place the chilli in a bowl.
    Add 1 tbsp of sour cream on top.
    Spread cheese to taste. (My recommendation is 2 tbsp for 1 serve)
    Serve them with crackers on the side!
