Chicken & Green Bean Pot Stew Chicken & Green Bean Pot Stew
Hi everyone!!! After yesterday’s Clean Monday or Ash Monday and a day of fasting, I am back with another Chicken recipe. 🙂 Fasting usually last for about 40 some odds days, which is way to long of time at least for me that is, so what I usually do is fast the last week before Easter. I think most people do that know, busy schedule and fasting a bit difficult. If your in the mood to eat something different give this recipe a try, you just might like it. 🙂My husband is a fan of Green beans, me not so much, but before I say NO to something I like to try it out first, I have actually tried to eat them a few times in the past, but it was a no go. I gave it one more try again today just in case my tastebuds have changed aaaand NO they have not..:), so I can officially say I am not a fan of Green Beans.Since, I do love Chicken this recipe has the combination of both worlds, and the taste is just superb (Chicken of course is). 🙂 With the addition of fresh tomatoes and herbs simmering together just makes you want to eat it all at once. Adding a side dish of Feta cheese, drizzled with Olive Oil, topped with fresh Oregano, dipping that fresh slice of bread into the sauce AWWW!! what more can I say. 🙂 Foodzesty -
New Mexico Green Chili Stew New Mexico Green Chili Stew
Photographed are Diced tomatoes, but I typically used crushed. Diced can be too much tomato in one bite, if not stewed long enough. The best part of stew though, you can use what you have! Lauren Vigil -
Eggplant and tomato stew with Shiitake powder Eggplant and tomato stew with Shiitake powder
Shiitake mushrooms, eggplants, and tomatoes go together very well! Using the grated dried Shiitake featured on Japanese National Television Agency "NHK Gatten!" easily gives this dish a natural, rich umami taste.Tips and tricks:*Adding a little water to Shiitake powder and waiting 10 minutes before using, maximizes 3x the Umami Flavor! Chicken & Tomato Stew from Vegetable Soup Chicken & Tomato Stew from Vegetable Soup
I made this recipe variation after I got a craving for tomatoes. I got the idea of making this soup after someone made a soup from a stew we had the night before whilst I was travelling.I'm using breast meat, but thigh meat is much juicier. If you want to make this recipe a bit healthier, then omit the flour. The vegetables in this soup have already been blended so if you want to give your stew a bit of texture, feel free to add any vegetables you find in your freezer. If the aroma isn't too strong for you, feel free to keep the garlic in. Recipe by Garumeri cookpad.japan -
Cream Stew with Salmon and Napa Cabbage Cream Stew with Salmon and Napa Cabbage
I came up with an easy cream stew that can be made without white sauce using everyday ingredients.2 cubes of consommé will result in a light flavor, so you'll need a generous amounts of salt and pepper. It might be best to add 3 cubes, if you like the taste of consommé. For 4 to 5 servings. Recipe by Nanagukun cookpad.japan -

Tomato Portobello Mushroom Stew Tomato Portobello Mushroom Stew
If you are looking for a simple, hearty vegetarian dish, this mushroom stew is perfect. The meaty texture of portobello mushrooms pairs beautifully with a rich tomato base, lifted by fresh basil, garlic, and a touch of paprika for warmth and color. It is quick to make, full of flavor, and works just as well on its own as it does alongside rice, pasta, or crusty bread. This is also very similar to how we cook our local mushrooms in Malawi (minus the basil, paprika, and garlic). Rainy season is mushroom season here, but that depends on us taking care of the natural environment. Sadly, many of Malawi’s forested areas are being depleted, which affects not only the forests themselves but also the wild mushrooms that grow there, making them harder to find and more expensive. Since I love mushrooms so much, I find ways to enjoy imported mushrooms while I wait for the next rainy season.#CA2025 Bianca Mwale -
