Dal Vadas with Spring Onions

#dals
#cookpadindia
A famous South Indian snack with Spring Onions. I added this vegetable because i wanted to add some healthy Greens in these Vadas. And thus the end result was innovative awesome lip smacking hot Vadas with some Greens and of course the main ingredient which is Bengal Gram. I made these for Iftaar today for a change. The only thing to remember in this is to soak the Lentils overnight and keep some of them as it is for that crunchy effect. You will definitely be able to make them without any hassles. Use of water should be as little as possible. There is no need of a smooth batter. And if there are any broken pieces of Daal here and there, that's perfectly fine.
Happy Cooking Everyone!

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Grind dal with all the masalas except the onions, coriander leaves and spring onions.
- 2
Later on mix the other ingredients. After mixing well, keep the dal batter aside to let the flavours infuse well. Shape them into small vadas and flatten them a little with your hands. Deep fry these vadas in hot oil on a low to medium high heat. (Care should be taken for the first 2 minutes and the vadas should be left undisturbed.)
- 3
After a minute or two, slowly turn them to the other side. Serve them hot with green chutney or any dipping sauce of your choice. Enjoy!
