Egg Nest with Magic Sauce

Best things in life should be free or at least easy to cook. I am sharing with you a secret sauce recipe which will add flair to any dish you make and surprise you with the magical taste. It does have a sinful ingredient called Mayonnaise. A dash of mayo with garlic, lemon, salt and olive oil makes this dish unique and flavorful. I always have sprouts growing on my kitchen window. I sprinkled some mustard sprouts to get the additional crunch. One seemingly useless kitchen gadget that I used to create my nest from beetroot and potatoes is called a spiralizer. You can use a slice of buttered toast as the base too instead of veggies with same effect. Enjoy for breakfast snack or a lazy dinner.

  4. 2 clovesgarlic
  5. 1 tbspolive oil
  6. The making of the Nest (use one of these as base)

  8. Or
  9. 2Arugula leaves on buttered toast (option )
  10. 1egg sunny side up medium done with salt and pepper to taste
  11. Garnish with sprouts or any crunchy salad leaves finely sliced

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Make a sauce in the mortar or a blender. I like smashing the ingredients with stone to get a bite.

  2. 2

Spiralized vegetable optional. Toast works fine; just add some salad leaves before adding the magic sauce.

  3. 3

Humble egg never tasted so good. When the yolk runs into the nest, you will bite into bliss.
