Ingredients

  1. 6 cupswhite rice(shinkafa tuwo)
  2. 1/2 cupCooked rice
  3. 3 tbsactive Yeast
  4. to tasteSugar
  5. Pinchsalt
  6. 1 tbsBaking powder

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Remove the small dirt particles in the rice. Wash the rice and soak in water over night.

  2. 2

    Drain the rice, add the cooked rice and blend to form batter

  3. 3

    Add sugar, yeast,baking powder and salt to the batter and stir, keep under the sun or in a warm place and allow it rise. Once it rise you will some bubbles

    Heat a non- stick frying pan on a low heat, drizzle little oil.

    Pour a cup of the batter, cover it and allow it to cook

  6. 6

    Once it's done you will see some holes visible on the top. no need to flip

  7. 7

    You can serve with vegetable soup, honey, suya or any soup of your choice.

No you can't make your batter the night before because it all goes back to those leavening agents. And will get less and less effective the longer you wait to ladle the batter into the pan. Idan yeast yayi over rising zakiga Yana komawa. But for pancakes da baasa yeast you can refrigerate it
