Ingredients

  1. 540 mlWhite rice
  2. Sushi Vinegar:
  3. 100 mlRice vinegar
  4. 1 1/2 tspSalt
  5. 4 tbspSugar

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the rice. I think it tastes nice if cooked with a little bit of dashi konbu. Combine the ingredients for the sushi vinegar and mix into the rice. When mixing, line a wooden sushi tub with a bit of sushi vinegar to stop the rice sticking to the sides.

    Quickly warm both sides of the toasted nori over a flame.

    Top with watever you like: omelet, cucumber, radish sprouts, pickled daikon radish, tuna, salmon, shiso leaves, canned tuna, prawn, squid etc.
