Baby Aloo Samosas

Samosas are good, but baby samosas are even better. Especially because you can eat so many more without feeling the guilt 😋

Best served with spicy green chutney, tangy tamarind chutney and a cup or two of hot chai 😍

Ingredients

  1. 2boiled potatoes
  2. Oil for deep frying
  3. For potato filling
  4. 1 tbspghee
  5. 1/2 tspcumin
  6. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  7. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  8. 1/2 tspgaram masala
  9. 1/2 tspchaat masala
  10. For paste
  11. 4green chillies
  12. 1/2 inchginger
  13. 3-4 tbspchopped coriander

Cooking Instructions

    Mix all the ingredients to prepare the dough. Make a hard dough and set it aside for about 10 minutes.

    Heat ghee in a pan and add chopped boiled potatoes. Cook for 2-3 mins, while mixing, so as to get a very light coating on the potatoes.  Blend ginger, coriander, green chilli together and along with the other ingredients, put in the potatoes and mix. Let the potato mixture cool for 5-10 mins.

    Roll the dough, place the potato filling, seal the edges.

    Deep fry the samosas in hot oil till golden brown and crisp.

    Serve with green chutney, tamarind chutney and hot chai.
