Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsthick poha
  2. as neededWater for washing poha
  3. 2 tablespoonoil
  4. 1/4 tspmustard seeds
  5. 5-6Curry leaves
  6. 2large onions chopped
  7. 5-6green chillies chopped
  8. as per tasteSalt
  9. 1potato peeled diced and boiled
  10. 1/4 cuppeanuts (saute in 1/2 tsp oil)
  11. Handfulcoriander chopped
  12. 5 tspGrated fresh coconut (optional)
  13. 1/2 tsplime or lemon juice

    Wash strain the poha 3-4 times until you see clear water.

  2. 2

    In a pan, heat some oil. Add mustard seeds. Once they splutter,add onions,salt and little coriander leaves.

    Once onions turn translucent, add turmeric and mix properly. Add the poha, potatoes and mix together.

  4. 4

    Cover and let it cook for 10mins on low flame.

  5. 5

    Garnish with grated coconut,peanuts,and coriander with a dash of lime juice.
