Homemade Yoshinoya-Style Gyudon (Beef Rice Bowl)
My son loves Yoshinoya and used to go there a lot. (One reason is that we have one really close to our house...) I thought I could make it at home using cheap cuts of beef, and after several tries I got to this recipeWhen I finally got it right, so here it is!You start by making the caramel. The caramel doesn't have to be dark brown, just as long as it has some color. You don't have to add garlic, but ginger is essential or it won't taste right. A dash of white wine is the secret to Yoshinoya beef bowls. For 3 to 4 servings. Recipe by smapkayo

Gyudon beef - Yoshinoya wannabe
I’m pregnant and i’m craving for Yoshinoya. The problem is there is no yoshinoya in this country.A japanese friend of mine suggested using sukiyaki sauce for a simpler way since it already has some sake, and mirin. You might not agree with the brands i used here but hey this girl gotta eat. And this lockdown isnt helping.————### I’m indonesian. I live in France. I don’t like cooking but someone’s gotta do it, ugh. Most of what i cook has some indonesian touch to it, feel free to change them. Enjoy my lazy recipe. ###

You can make gyudon any time as long as you have some onions and beef, so it's a easy to make life saver. I've been making this way for a long time. You can use a cheap cut of beef, but choose a type that has plenty of fat and is thinly sliced for the best flavor. Please adjust the amount of sugar and soy sauce to your liking. For 4 generous servings. Recipe by Kyoku

Beef Rice Bowl (Gyudon) in 10 Minutes
This is the taste that my mother-in-law passed down to me.A lot of liquid comes out of the onion, so if you wish to increase the amount of the onions, add green onion or Japanese leek.A convenient way to remember is that if you add 1 part sugar, you add 2 parts sake and soy sauce each. For 4 servings. Recipe by nao life

Mimi's Chili
I have made this recipe many ways (added onions while cooking or chopped green pepper) below is the way my family likes me to make it. Add reserved juice from tomatoes if you want more liquid. I use a little cornstarch and water to thicken if needed. We serve this either over rice, elbow noodles or crackers and butter! Topped with chopped onions, cheese and sour cream or fritos!

Large! Kansai-Style Kitsune Udon
This is a kitsune udon made with homemade kitsune! If you use homemade udon noodles, it's excellent, but it's delicious even with frozen udon. It's very important to thoroughly remove the oil from the kitsune, then squeeze out the moisture before simmering in the seasonings. If you don't squeeze out enough water, the seasonings will become diluted. The color will also be diluted! If you use tofu skins for inarizushi, it's even more delicious! See. Easy Kansai-Style Kitsune Udon
My mother taught me this recipe.1) Every type of kombu dashi is different, so adjust the amount of salt to your liking.2) When making the astuaage, cut it in half and simmer it in inari sushi sauce, then store it in the freezer; this makes it easier to use up the leftovers.Be sure to properly drain the water from the noodles.2) You can also put the noodles directly into the pot.
