Mos Burger Copy-cat Recipe

I made this for my family and everyone was surprised when I brought out burgers just like the real thing!
This takes a little effort to simmer down the sauce but it is worth it! Your effort is compensated by the fact that there's are any special ingredients and they don't cost a lot! Recipe by Setsu-1 grand prix

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Let's start with the sauce! Mince an onion and soak half in water! This is what gives Mos Burgers their distinctive flavor.
- 2
Mince the other two onions. Chop the celery so it fits in the blender in the next step.
- 3
Add the vegetables from the previous step to a blender with the canned tomatoes, and 500 ml of 100% carrot juice.
- 4
Add oil to pan and brown 200 g of the ground meat. Use a whisk to break up the chunks just like they do at the real Mos Burger!
- 5
Add the remaining onion without rinsing the water and fry until translucent. This is easier if you use a silicon spatula.
- 6
Add the vegetable mix in, and simmer over low heat for about 25 minutes. After simmering, check the flavor. You'll be amazed at the sweet taste of the vegetables!
- 7
Let's make the sauce! This is a short cut that tastes like Mos Burger! Add one pack! Be careful because the sauce will burn easily!
- 8
Mix the ground meat with 2 tablespoons panko, 1 tablespoon soy milk, 1 egg, and 2 tablespoons of the sauce. Sprinkle in nutmeg and salt as needed and continue kneading.
- 9
Fry both sides over medium-low for about 2 minutes, toast the bun, and arrange the patty.
- 10
Squirt on the mayonnaise, and mustard. Use about the amount shown in the photo.
- 11
Here's the key! Raw onions!
- 12
Special meat sauce! About this much! Careful not to let it spill over!
- 13
Top on a thick slice of tomato!
- 14
Place the other bun on top! Voila!
- 15
These little papers are to keep the sauce from dripping all over the place! There especially nice for guests!
- 16
Plated and ready! It looks the same! It's easy!
- 17
One more thing. This makes a lot of sauce! So let's divide it into 450 g and 650 g containers and freeze it! It's great later on, and inexpensive!

Simple burgers Simple burgers
The internet relies on hyperbolic statements like THIS IS THE SIMPLEST BEST BURGER RECIPE EVER WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE, DROP 23 DRESS SIZES AND SAVE THE LIFE OF AN ADORABLE ILL BABY. This, however, is a fairly good burger, that’s pretty quick to make. It’s an adaptation of a Jamie Oliver recipe from 15 Minute Meals. So it actually takes half an hour. It’s a solid dinner. Burger Salad Burger Salad
I was going to make burgers with buns for dinner last night until the hubs told me he was not feeling the buns because his weeklong work function served sandwiches at lunch every day.So we went with a burger salad, incorporating four different recipes from Cookpad, all of which are pretty easy and don't take that much time. (See Method section for urls for each recipe.)I didn't give exact measurements because it's one of those assembly deals where you can put as much or as little of a thing as you like for your salad. That was one tasty low-starch way to enjoy a burger. Thank you, Kostas1213 and Yorkie! :) x
