I made this for my family and everyone was surprised when I brought out burgers just like the real thing!

This takes a little effort to simmer down the sauce but it is worth it! Your effort is compensated by the fact that there's are any special ingredients and they don't cost a lot! Recipe by Setsu-1 grand prix

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 350 gramsMinced meat (pork)
  2. 3Onion
  3. 2Carrot
  4. 1 stalkCelery
  5. 1 canCanned tomatoes
  6. 1 packagesStore-bought meat sauce
  7. 1Egg
  8. 1 dashNutmug
  9. 2 tbspPanko
  10. 1 tbspSoy milk
  11. 1 sliceTomato
  12. 1 dashSalt
  13. 1 dashCoarse black pepper
  14. 22 hamburger buns
  15. 1Vegetable oil

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Let's start with the sauce! Mince an onion and soak half in water! This is what gives Mos Burgers their distinctive flavor.

  2. 2

Mince the other two onions. Chop the celery so it fits in the blender in the next step.

  3. 3

Add the vegetables from the previous step to a blender with the canned tomatoes, and 500 ml of 100% carrot juice.

  4. 4

Add oil to pan and brown 200 g of the ground meat. Use a whisk to break up the chunks just like they do at the real Mos Burger!

  5. 5

Add the remaining onion without rinsing the water and fry until translucent. This is easier if you use a silicon spatula.

  6. 6

Add the vegetable mix in, and simmer over low heat for about 25 minutes. After simmering, check the flavor. You'll be amazed at the sweet taste of the vegetables!

  7. 7

Let's make the sauce! This is a short cut that tastes like Mos Burger! Add one pack! Be careful because the sauce will burn easily!

  8. 8

Mix the ground meat with 2 tablespoons panko, 1 tablespoon soy milk, 1 egg, and 2 tablespoons of the sauce. Sprinkle in nutmeg and salt as needed and continue kneading.

  9. 9

Fry both sides over medium-low for about 2 minutes, toast the bun, and arrange the patty.

  10. 10

Squirt on the mayonnaise, and mustard. Use about the amount shown in the photo.

  11. 11

    Here's the key! Raw onions!

  12. 12

Special meat sauce! About this much! Careful not to let it spill over!

  13. 13

Top on a thick slice of tomato!

  14. 14

Place the other bun on top! Voila!

  15. 15

These little papers are to keep the sauce from dripping all over the place! There especially nice for guests!

  16. 16

Plated and ready! It looks the same! It's easy!

  17. 17

One more thing. This makes a lot of sauce! So let's divide it into 450 g and 650 g containers and freeze it! It's great later on, and inexpensive!

I don't understand what the "meat sauce" is.
