Groundnut Soup with Tuwon Shinkafa

Cooking Instructions

Roast raw peanuts (groundnut) for 20-25mins. Remove skin and discard burnt peanuts. Grind roasted peanuts into a creamy smooth paste and set aside.

Chop the spinach and put aside. Chop the habanero peppers, garlic, onion and put aside.

Cook cleaned beef with seasoning, chopped habanero, garlic and chopped onion. Cover and cook on medium heat for 15mins or until the meat soften.

Add crayfish powder, palm oil, creamy peanut paste, water and continue cooking for 15mins..

Then, add chopped spinach. Add salt to taste. Stir and remove groundnut soup from heat.

Serve with rice, swallow or anything of your choice. Served mine with tuwon shinkafa.
