Ingredients

  1. 12 1/3 ozground beef (about 10 1/4 oz for me)
  2. 1/2medium onion, coarsely chopped
  3. 5 tablespoonsbreadcrumbs (6 tablespoons for me)
  4. 1/2 teaspoongarlic powder (3 cloves garlic for me)
  5. 1/2 teaspoonwhite pepper powder (black pepper powder for me)
  6. 1/2 teaspoonmushroom broth powder
  7. 1/2 teaspoonsalt
  8. 1/2 teaspoonoregano
  9. 1/4 teaspoonsugar
  10. 1 tablespoonvegetable oil
  11. 1 tablespoonsesame oil (my addition)
  12. 1egg, lightly beaten
  13. 3 tablespoonsoil (divided: for sautéing & dough coating)

Cooking Instructions

    Crush the garlic with salt & sugar. Then sauté briefly with the chopped onion until just wilted.

    Prepare a large bowl, add the ground beef & other ingredients except for the egg. MIX WELL.

    Add the beaten egg & mix well again. I knead by hand to ensure the mixture is well combined.

    Tip: To test the taste, cook 1 teaspoon in a skillet greased with margarine. If the taste is lacking, you can add more to your liking...

    Weigh the mixture, I forgot how much each piece weighs🤦😂 it ended up making 10 pieces. Shape into flat rounds. Wrap each patty with plastic wrap, lightly coat both sides with oil to prevent sticking.

    Can be stored in the freezer if not used immediately. Tip: When ready to cook, remove from the freezer. Wait until it reaches room temperature, then cook in a pan/skillet with a little butter over low heat...
