Ingredients

15 min plus 1.5 hour Resting
4-6 People
  1. 1 teaspoonsugar
  2. 1/2 cupwarm water
  3. 1/4 oz. (2 1/4 teaspoons)active dry yeast
  4. 2 1/4 cupsall-purpose flour
  5. 1/2 cupplain yogurt
  6. 1/2 teaspoonsalt
  7. 1 tablespoonoil
  8. some oil, for greasing the skillet
  9. 3 tablespoonsmelted butter

Cooking Instructions

15 min plus 1.5 hour Resting
  1. 1

In a bowl, add the sugar, warm water, and yeast together. Stir to combine well. The yeast should be activated when it becomes foamy, about 10 minutes. Transfer the flour to a large mixing bowl and make a well in the middle. Add the yeast mixture, yoghurt, salt and oil, knead the dough until the surface becomes smooth and shiny, about 10 minutes. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rise - The dough should double in size, 1-1.5 Hours

  2. 2

Divide the dough into 8 equal portions. Roll the dough to a 20cm (Approx - no need to measure lol) circle using a floured rolling pin

  3. 3

Heat up a skillet or Frying Pan over high heat and lightly grease the surface with some oil to avoid the dough from sticking. Place the dough on the skillet. When it puffs up and bubbles and burnt spots appear, flip it over and cook the other side. Repeat the same until all dough are done

  4. 4

Brush with some melted butter and service - TRUELY AMAZING !
