Here’s the recipe for eggless vanilla cake which I absolutely love. You can bake vanilla cake in a oven or in a pressure cooker.

This is a moist, delicious cake that you can whip up in a hurry. I originally got it from a cookbook that my mom's cake decorating club, Mile High Cake Decorators, produced back in the 1970s. It was called "Mile High Favorites." All of the members of the club submitted their favorite recipes. I guess you could say it was like an early version of CookPad! This is my go-to cookbook, because it contains many family favs.

I went out to eat at a fancy schmancy restaurant and they served a butter cake. It was... probably the best thing they served. It was a little crispy, buttery. Can a cake be sexy? That’s what it was. I never heard of a butter cake, never tried one. I looked into it and this is my rendition.

I deduced this recipe from baking red velvet cake a little over 2 yrs ago. I have baked no other plain cake since then. Hopefully you will too !!
