Caramelized Apple with Puff Pastry

I was trying to make a dessert that is easy but still looks a little luxurious for parties.
You're practically done once you've managed to prepare your caramelized apples without burning them. You can leave the rest to the microwave, oven and hand mixer to do the work. It's a very easy recipe. Recipe by Wagamamahime

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Take out the frozen puff pastry from the freezer, and bring it to room temperature.
- 2
Start making the custard cream. Please refer to. Follow the instructions up to Step 5. Mix in the apple juice as instructed in Step 6.

- 3
When the custard cream is cooled a little, add the rum, stir it again, and it's ready.
- 4
Peel and thinly slice the apple. Put the ☆ ingredients in a frying pan, and heat over medium heat.
- 5
When the bubbles have become smaller, add the apple. Coat the apple in the syrup while shaking the frying pan.
- 6
The apple will be caramelized gradually, so keep simmering while watching it carefully not to burn.
- 7
When the caramelized apple has turned to a golden brown, add the butter and apple juice, and mix together well. The caramelized apple is ready.
- 8
Start preheating the oven (refer to the puff pastry packet for baking temperature and time).
- 9
Cut out the room temperature puff pastry into circles (3 pieces per person). I used a ring mold. If you don't have a ring mold, use a glass or something similar!
- 10
You can cut the puff pastry into squares with a knife, too! It's cute if you cut it into small pieces to serve individually. Or if you are making it for a large number of people, you can bake it as it is!
- 11
Combine the ■ ingredients well to make an egg wash. Brush over the surface of the puff pastry, and bake as instructed on the puff pastry packet.
- 12
Meanwhile, whip the heavy cream with sugar.
- 13
When the puff pastry has baked, cool it a little. Then let's assemble the mille-feuille!
- 14
Assemble as follows: Puff pastry, custard cream, puff pastry, whipped cream, puff pastry, custard cream, caramelized apple.
- 15
Add diced nuts on top of the whipped cream to taste.
- 16
Add powdered sugar, ice cream or mint on top to taste.

Changing the oven temperature halfway through is also key! This filling makes a light apple pie. If you want to make an apple pie with plenty of filling, increase the amount. I often hear that this pie is light on the sweetness, so if you have a sweet tooth, increase the amount of sugar to your liking.(Recipe by azura) cookpad.japan -

Easy Apple Pie with Frozen Puff Pastry Easy Apple Pie with Frozen Puff Pastry
You may have seen a recipe like this a long time ago, but this is the apple pie my mother used to make when I was a child. Now it's what I like to make for my own family.Basically, it's foolproof, since you use frozen puff pastry. If I were to suggest anything, it would be to make sure the apple filling isn't watery, and not to put too much in or it will leak out. If it leaks out, it will burn and the pastry won't puff.
