Shortbread cookies

My nephew asked me to make some cookies and he wanted these ones. The recipy was in my recipybook.

Ingredients

30 m
about 30 servin
  1. 250 grice cold butter
  2. 125 grsugar
  3. 1 packetvanilla sugar (8gr) or 1 tb vanilla essence
  4. 1 tbwater
  5. 375 grplain flower
  6. 1egg yolk
  7. 1 pinchsalt

Cooking Instructions

    Mix with sugars, the salt and the egg yolk. By hand

    Sif the flower and ad it to the mixture. Need as shortly as possible

    Roll into a Ball and pack the Ball into kling film

  5. 5

    Put in the fridge for at least 30 min

  6. 6

    Use half the dough make into a roll. And cut some cookies with a sharp knife. I don´t mind the shape.

    Bake for 12 to 15 min in a preheated oven (170°C)

    Repeat or freez the rest. So you always have cookie dough for unexpected guests.

    You can serve them plain or melt some chocolat and cover half the cookie. Note,that I have a crapy oven so there are not baked evenly. But my nephew ate the lot.
