Made these for a fall party. Modified from a family shortbread recipe. They go great with strong coffee of hot cider on a nippy evening!

Made these for a fall party. Modified from a family shortbread recipe. They go great with strong coffee of hot cider on a nippy evening!

Ingredients

12 servings
  1. 1/2 cupSoft butter (salted)
  2. 1/4 cupBrown sugar
  3. 1/4 cupHeavy cream
  4. 1 tspVanilla extract
  5. 1 cupWhite flour
  6. 1/2 tspCinnamon
  7. 1/4 tspPumpkin pie spice
  8. pinchSalt

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 375. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper.

    Mix butter and sugar until well blended.

  3. 3

    Blend in cream.

  4. 4

    Blend in vanilla.

  5. 5

    Mix dry ingredients until well blended.

  6. 6

    Cut dry ingredients into wet ingredients until cookie dough forms. Should be moist but not wet and form a slightly flaky ball. If too wet add 2Tbls flour.

    Roll into 1" balls and press down on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.

  8. 8

    Bake at 375 for 10-13 minutes.
