Hello everyone, I hope that all are well and getting ready for the holidays. I am feeling better and better each day :). Christmas is coming up rather quickly, so I decided to start my christmas cookies, so I haven’t made Christmas cookies in years, so I took out the recipe and started making cookies this morning.The cookies are simple to make, a recipe that is straight forward and not to much of a mess in the kitchen. My kitchen is quite small, so I don’t really have much counter space to lay everything all over, so I have to move a few things around to be able to cook and bake. So, here here goes…..:)

I like my peanut butter cookies to really taste like peanut butter, so I developed this recipe!! It's made all the better with homemade vanilla!!

The temperature and time I wrote down are based on my oven without using the convection function. You don't have to follow the recipe exactly as long as you know how to adjust the temperature and time. These cookies don't need to be baked until completely golden brown; otherwise, they will be too dry! For normal-sized cookies, bake until the edges are golden, and they should be ready.

These are awesome. Light tasty cookies. Easy to make and you cant stop eating them. Experiment with different cake mixes. Orange is awesome.

You can do variations of cookies with this recipe like adding in chocolate chips or a Hershey kiss on top after you remove them from the oven. You can get creative with it!

This time I added almond flour to the recipe for an extra layer of flavor. The cookies have a firmer texture compared to using only cake flour, but they remain crisp and delicious.💕

This is the first time I'm making cookies for this occasion, especially because my older little one is starting to ask for them and, of course, mom indulges her. The recipe is very similar to my decorated butter cookies, except here I added a bit of orange zest, which can also be lemon, or just essence.
