Ingredients

  1. 1 cupfinally crushed pecans
  2. 2 sticksunsalted butter softened
  3. 1 cuppowdered sugar plus extra for coating
  4. 1/2 teaspoonalmond extract
  5. 1 teaspoonvanilla extract
  6. 1/4 teaspoonkosher salt
  7. 2 cupsall-purpose flour

Cooking Instructions

    Heat oven to 350 degrees and spread out pecans on a rimmed baking sheet and bake for 8 minutes then let cool

  2. 2

    Beat butter and sugar together till creamy then mix in vanilla, almond and salt

  3. 3

    Gradually mix in flour and then mix in pecans till well combined

  4. 4

    Shape dough into 1 tablespoonfuls and roll into a ball place on a parchment lined baking sheet and refrigerate for 30 minutes

  5. 5

    Bake for 18 to 20 minutes

  6. 6

    Let cool slightly then roll in powdered sugar and place on a baking sheet to finish cooling then store in a covered container
