I ran out of veggies and had already washed the beans.Then,I thought 'why not blend it white before they go get them'? Well,I did so and it turned out great alongside a pepper sauce.

I ran out of veggies and had already washed the beans.Then,I thought 'why not blend it white before they go get them'? Well,I did so and it turned out great alongside a pepper sauce.
Cooking Instructions

Soak the beans for 10mins and scrub continuously till all the chaff is out

Add a little water and blend into a soft batter
- 3
Add a pint of salt
- 4
Pour half a cup of batter in a polythene bag and tie properly
- 5
Repeat the above step till the batter is finished

In a pot,boil some water

Put the bags in the water and let to cook for 40mins

Empty the polythene bags into plates
- 9
Serve hot with any sauce of your choice
- 10

So usually in the winter, I like to make English Style steamed puddings. But my son-in-law brought something new to me over, a 25 pound jackfruit. I love this fruit, but had an over abundance of fruit. So I figured, why not a steamed pudding. Searching turned up nothing, so took a couple other recipes, and came up with this recipe. After eating the first one, and it was so good, I made a second one, which I recorded here. Now here is where it gets weird. A mistake was made, that turned out really nice. I accidentally used parmesan seasoned bread crumbs instead of regular bread crumbs. Yes, weird, but it gave it a slight change that turned out wonderful. Think of the difference between a regular caramel, and a salted caramel, almost the same, but a slight difference that just adds that little something extra. If it's too weird for you, use regular bread crumbs. It is still exceptional. No I have not tried canned jackfruit. A steamed pudding is super dense and moist. It is best served with a sauce, like hard sauce or custard sauce. But whipped cream is nice, some like a sprinkle of powdered sugar. Fo Fa -

I had leftover sesame paste, so I dissolved that into milk and hardened it with gelatin to make pudding.The reason why you chill the bottom of the pot in ice-cold water after the gelatin is dissolved is to prevent the sesame paste and milk from separating. It also hardens much faster if you cool it down and stir to thicken before pouring it into a container.If you don't cool the mixture down thoroughly, it will form two layers. When I went out for lunch, the soy milk zenzai I had for dessert was very delicious and I thought that how would if be if it was made solid with gelatin? I made it few times and it became this recipe. It is very easy.If you let it come to a boil, a film will form on the surface of the soy milk, so be careful.It will form two beautiful layers because the azuki beans are heavy and will sink to the bottom.
