Ingredients

  • Pickling cucumbers
  • Pickling Dill (or baby Dill)
  • 1.5 tbspPickling spice blend
  • 4 cupscold water
  • 1 cupWhite Vinegar
  • 2 tbspiodized salt
  • 2 tbspcoarse Himalayan pink salt
  • 4 clovesgarlic
  • 1 tbspsugar
  • 1/2 tbspwhole black peppercorns, or 1-2 dried chili peppers (optional)

Steps

  1. 1

    Pack a jar with the pickling cucumbers, dill, and garlic

  2. 2

    Mix the brine containing the water, vinegar, salt, sugar, and pickling spices in a pot and bring to a boil

  3. 3

    Pour the brine over the pickles and seal the jar(s). Cool and refrigerate, pickles will be ready in 2-3 weeks depending on their size.
