Ingredients

  1. 2medium onions, minced
  2. 4 cupchicken broth
  3. 4 tbspbutter
  4. 2carrots, diced
  5. 1 cupdice celery
  6. 4 cupsdiced potatoes
  7. 1 (28 oz)cans diced tomatoes
  8. 5 cupswater
  9. 1 tbspsalt
  10. 1 tsppepper
  11. 1 tbspdied parsley
  12. 6 (6.5 oz.)cans chopped clams

Cooking Instructions

    Saute onion in butter until golden. Add remaining vegetables, water, chicken broth, salt and pepper.

    Cover and bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for an hour.

  3. 3

    Take off heat and add clams and clam juice. Cover and let stand for half hour.

  4. 4

    Heat for 10 minutes when ready to serve.
