Cooking Instructions

Mix milk, water, sugar, yeast, egg, flavour and whisk till all incorporated

Note: yeast and salt don't go well together i.e salt slow the activity of yeast), so you don't add salt directly to yeast mixture, rather add salt and flour, the pour into the liquid mix and knead into a dough.

Then add oil to the dough and knead again till incorporated (need some muscle work here😃)

Cover the dough and let it rise for 1-2 hrs, portion into parts, and roll circular, Then brush butter on top

Then slice through see clip below

Then roll up from edge and fold, and clip the tip firm.

Your baking tray is already lined with baking paper. Arrange your spiral rolls and cover for another 30 min, then egg wash and bake for 20-25 min medium heat.

I had my rounds on the bottom rack of the oven which is gas. I am thinking they may have gotten too hot. We have 2 racks in the oven.
